5 Questions to Ask Before You Start a Blog
It is one of the most common questions many bloggers receive; the second most asked is what camera we use (for me - Sony A6000 for videos and D800 for photos). While we all have taken different roads to get here, we all have asked ourselves at least 2 or 3 of these questions below, if not all 5. After all, this industry is competitive, oversaturated, and there's no such thing as overnight success. So are you really up for it?
Princess Cruises: Cabo
It was my very first time on a cruise and my first time in Cabo. In an effort to pack lightly, I actually under packed for the trip and had to borrow clothes from KSOLE, hah. Our cabin was spacious and yes, we ate a lot! I'll miss the delicious deserts but I am definitely taking a break from steak for awhile. Overall, we had a great time but are happy to be back home and I certainly do not miss the motion sickness!
Blogger, Wordpress, or Squarespace?
In the last few months, I have had friends ask me questions about blogging and how they can start blogging. I must say that I love inspiring people to follow their passion and totally get into it when they do ask me. Of course, this isn't a quick 30-minute chat but ends up being at least an hour as I go through the basics. However, the most commonly asked question is which server should I use? So let's go ahead and answer this one for you guys! I'll have another Q&A up later regarding photography, as that was the 2nd most commonly asked category.
Diner en Blanc: Los Angeles
Imagine a pop-up dinner with 2,500+ people dressed in all white, from head to toe, and enjoying an evening totally disconnected from reality. I attended my very first Diner en Blanc event last week and was in awe the entire time. The location was kept a secret up until we arrived at the meeting location. I was lucky enough to be a guest of Celebrity Cruises and was taken care of in regards to dinner arrangements. Typically, you would have to bring your own chairs and food to participate.
4 Ways to Wind Down with the HP x360
With the start of a new job, I've been extremely busy and am still recovering from our Vegas trade show. It's no secret that as you get older, your body starts to slow down. Therefore, breaks are mandatory and taking some time for yourself is essential in surviving.
Far From Perfect
It’s funny how social media is a resource and reference for what people deem to be true. Whatever we post or say is always assumed to be a reflection of our direct lives. Sure we like to brag, show-off and low-key ask for sympathy during our darkest hours (i.e. break up’s), however as humans we also like to assume and lie. Therefore, everything seen on your phone and computers should be taken with a grain of salt. For example: my relationship.
