LA Chapter at The Ace Hotel

When you're at The Ace Hotel, you're there for one of two reasons - the view or the food. LA Chapter is well known for their delicious brunch options, in which I've had the pleasure of trying but when it comes to dinner, they blew my expectations!

KSOLE and I really didn't know what to expect upon arriving but the hospitality of the staff made us feel at ease right away. Talk about great service! Being a boring old lady, I skipped on cocktails and had an orange juice. However, we made sure to order some delicious starters including oysters and Brussel sprouts, which wasn't a starter but I had a craving for it.

In addition to the two orders, the chef sent out some unbelievable aged Gouda gougeres and charred shishito peppers. It was my first time trying shishito peppers like that and wow, I loved it!

Overall we had an amazing time and the service topped it off. I would certainly recommend this for a date night, catching up with your girlfriends, or if you're looking for a delicious meal ;)

What we had:

  • Half dozen freshly shucked oysters
  • Aged Gouda gougeres
  • Liquorish Rohan duck breast
  • Flat iron steak
  • Charred shishito peppers
  • Sweet and spicy Brussel sprouts
  • Chicory salad
