Growing up, I've dealt with a lot of bullying and depression. Many of my friends also dealt with suicide, I know people who have tried to commit it, and I know of a few people who committed. I, myself, have contemplated suicide many times and have dealt with depression on and off. There isn't a real way to explain what you go through, what you're thinking at the time, but I remember the pain you feel. You zone out, nothing around you matters anymore, and you feel empty inside. I remember driving endlessly down PCH with my phone off, driving with no real direction and thinking, "what if I just slammed into a wall or drove off the side?" 

I woke up one morning, walked into the bathroom and caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. I looked myself dead in the eyes and started crying. I grazed my right hand across my cheek, feeling the bumps underneath my skin, before moving my hand across my chin. Nothing but bumps. My smooth skin was no where to be found and in its place was redness, irritation, acne that had slowly taken over my face. I couldn't recognize myself anymore and the only thing I could rely on was the abusive amount of foundation to partially cover up this ugliness. I woke up every morning for the next three months, utterly depressed and in fear that this was permanent.

Hidden behind the big wooden door is the entrance to Hotel Palomar in downtown San Diego. While it is within walking distance to a few favorited spots of the locals, it can be a bit deceiving to locate as it's wedged in the middle of the block. Make sure to look for the wooden door and the friendly valet guys in front so you don't miss it. (Note: valet is a 3rd party service and has a texting option to retrieve your car).

Self promotion, when done correctly can increase the visibility of your brand and drive more traffic to your blog/website/store, while gaining more followers through the process.

When done badly, you can easily sound like a broken record, become really annoying to your peers, and/or sound like you're just showing off. 

All of these products above replaced all my prior beauty go-to's from Tarte to Nars. I didn't realize that the things I was using before was making my skin worse, attributing to the problem and not resolving it. As soon as I threw out all the other items and started using just these 6 items, my skin started getting better. Of course, in addition to the resurfx treatments. The key to clear skin is to truly watch what you're putting on, along with what you're putting into your body as well but that's for another time.

The gorgeous design of The Pendry will take your breathe away. From the moment you walk into the lobby to the time you step into your room, there are so many photogenic corners inside this boutique hotel.

We stayed in a Deluxe Room that had a great city view with large windows and overlooked the pool. Needless to say, the room was just the right size and I loved how spacious the shower was. Aside from the comfortable king size bed, my second favorite part about the room is the beautiful marble sink in the bathroom. Talk about bathroom goals.
