The Best Self-Care Gifts for Your Bridesmaids

When your love language is gift giving so you spoil your closest girlfriends with the best and most self-care goody bag, except instead of a regular bag, it’s a custom duffle bag for them to take to my bachelorette trip. Why not spoil the ones who have supported you the most through your relationship?

There are a lot of traditional wedding ideas that KSOLE and I are not doing, and one of them is not having a court (bridesmaids and groomsmen). It just doesn’t make sense to us when we’re planning to elope. We do have a MOH and Best Man (who is my fiance’s sister) though. However, if I did have bridesmaids, THIS group of ladies would be it! So even though they aren’t part of our wedding, I wanted to spoil them nonetheless to thank them for their many years of friendship (most are 10+ years) and their support throughout this entire wedding planning process.

Before we get into what’s IN the bag, let me just talk about the duffle bag briefly. These personalized duffle bags are from an Etsy seller and comes in a variety of colors. Of course, being someone who loves her neutrals, I decided to go with the champagne. The bags arrived in perfect condition and rather quickly. The quality is great, it’s the perfect carry-on size, and does come with a strap. I got everyone’s initials on it and I love that it’s something they can use over and over again, versus gift bags/boxes that just go to waste. The girls loved it and I made sure to get one for myself too.

Now initially, I had planned to pack and prep all the bags in Scottsdale, but as you can tell from the photos, that would’ve been costly. Every bag was fully stuffed with over 20+ items in each bag, including full-size products, and there were 8 bags total. Instead, I decided to host the girls individually, according to their schedule, a couple of weeks before we leave and filmed their reactions to opening up the bag. You can see it all here!

This also gave the option for the girls to choose which items they would want to bring to the trip since some were full-size items that would’ve required them to check in a bag.

Alright, are you ready to hear what they got?

The theme for the trip was around self-care, and it was my version of a wellness retreat with just enough adventure and dancing sprinkled in. All the brands included below are either women-owned, BIPOC businesses, or small businesses that I love and support. I was very intentional about what to include, keeping in mind that I wanted things that the girls will enjoy over time rather than just for a weekend. All the items I picked also reflected the trip’s theme and where we were going (hence water bottles, sunscreen, loungewear, slippers, and journals). This bachelorette trip was not only about spending quality time with the girls I love the most, but also a weekend where we can support and empower one another in our individual journeys. The energy and vibes were unmatched, and this will forever be ingrained in my core memory.

Big THANK YOU to all the brands above for gifting my girls these amazing products. I’m so grateful for the relationships I have built with these brands over the years, and am even more grateful that I could share them with my favorite gals. Thank you so much!
