Celebrity’s Edge is the newest ship and one of the largest within the brand, with 14 decks and double occupancy capacity of 2,918 — not including the 1,320 crew members. Designed by Kelly Hoppen (of Kelly Hoppen Interiors), the staterooms have bathrooms that are 10% larger and Edge Stateroom with Infinite Veranda is 23% larger than Solstice Class veranda staterooms.

All standard-sized staterooms are fitted with kingsized cashmere mattresses part of the exclusive Celebrity Cashmere Bedding Collection. Each stateroom also has an infinite veranda with customized controls to your liking, ample storage space, and ultimate comfort.

Kelly also designed the Edge villa, Iconic suite, Penthouse suite, and Sky suite, in addition to The Retreat Sun Deck, The Retreat Lounge, and Luminae at the Retreat.

The highlight of Edge is the Magic Carpet, created by Tom Wright (of WKK). While I didn’t get to enjoy the full experience of the Magic Carpet, we did get to see inside it briefly. The Magic Carpet varies between decks to give customers different experiences and views when dining. This incredible engineering feat is the world’s first cantilevered, floating platform that reaches heights of 13 stories above sea level.
