Hotel St. George

To say that Hotel St. George is beautiful is an understatement, it is beyond gorgeous and the photos below are just a glimpse of what the hotel truly looks like in person.

Hotel St. George is a full-service luxury hotel situated in the heart of Helsinki by the beautiful Old Church Park. With 5 suites and 148 individually decorated rooms, this easily has to be one of the most gorgeous stays I've had. The décor alone is what my future home should look like, and the staff is extremely sweet and helpful.

KSOLE and I stayed in the Serenity Studio, which featured the most peaceful tones and Spanish marble bathroom with a rain shower. We adored the design and artwork created by local Finnish artists, in addition to the modern technological touches throughout the room aka every hotel room should have USB outlets on their bedside tables, please.

Did I mention that they offer free breakfast every morning? Just head down to the lobby and order yourself an omelet, grab a latte, and enjoy your food in peace. In addition, St. George Hotel also has a bakery in-house so you can grab sweet treats any time of the day or another espresso on the go.

Since the hotel is centrally located in the heart of town, you can easily walk a couple blocks down to the shopping center. Enjoy a day out with the girls with an endless amount of boutiques, high-end retailers, and vintage shops.

If you're hungry, may I suggest Puette's? It's just a quick walk down the street from the hotel. They customize great pizza, which was perfect for me as I'm lactose so mine had no dairy but plenty of meat and sauce. Their salad bar is fresh and their drinks include beers and refreshing lemonades (which is what we consider soda in the States).

If you choose to stay anywhere in Helsinki, stay here. I really wish we had more than one night at the hotel, as I would've loved to pretend it was my home for at least a week. Hopefully I'll be back soon! Thank you Hotel St. George for the best time.
