H Hotel Los Angeles, Curio Collection by Hilton
In partnership with Hilton Hotels, however, all opinions are of my own and 100% honest.
When it comes to traveling, the hardest part isn’t packing, as I’ve become quite the professional in that aspect. It isn’t planning the itinerary or even figuring out the exchange rate. It is the dreadful drive to and from LAX, and it is during those drives that I wished I lived closer to LA. Fortunately, my wish came true with our latest trip and it gave me more than I asked for, including a futuristic butler name Hannah.
I was invited for a two-night staycation at the H Hotel Los Angeles, a Curio Collection by Hilton, which included a first look at their new Dine In/Dine Out package.
The Dine In/Dine Out package is offered at selected LA and OC Hilton hotels. The promo includes breakfast vouchers (not applicable for room service) and an exclusive discount booklet for participating local restaurants. What better way to stay and save because let’s face it, we all know eating out can get pricey! The downside? This promo ends March 31, 2018, so I highly suggest you book now by clicking here.
KSOLE and I checked into the H Hotel on Friday evening, refreshed and relaxed a bit before we headed downstairs for dinner at Waypoint Kitchen. We opted to stay in the hotel for dinner with the Dine In/Dine Out promo, however the variety of options around the area was quite tempting.
We were quickly seated and given an iPad, which had the full menu with great imagery and descriptive details of each item. To place an order, you simply add the item to the cart, make any necessary adjustments and send it over to the kitchen. It was efficient and fast, and we received our food within 10-15 minutes. While we ordered a few great things, my two favorite dishes were the wings and salmon.
Aside from the food, the restaurant décor was sophisticated and moody, featuring wall art from a local LA artist (which can also be seen throughout the entire hotel). The staff was also alert and very sweet.
We ended the night with hot tea and their addictive doughnuts.
The next morning, we took advantage of the downtime we had and slept in before placing an order for breakfast. In-room dining is not included as part of the Dine In/Dine Out package, however, we wanted to make the most of our time in the hotel and also try Hannah out.
Hannah is the hotel’s robotic butler and while she doesn’t talk, she sure has a bit of sass in her. Hannah delivered our breakfast, patiently waiting as we grabbed our boxes from her, and made sure we had all our items before leaving. In addition to breakfast, Hannah also can deliver towels, toiletries, and whatever else you might need during your hotel stay.
Note: Good news for coffee lovers! Coffee Bean is located in the hotel and can be delivered to your room, just not by Hannah as she isn’t too good with liquids.
After breakfast, we headed out to West Hollywood (about 30 minutes away) and shopped around Melrose & Fairfax. We grabbed lunch in the area with some friends and did some more shopping before heading back to the hotel to rest up for our 6AM flight. Before we called it a night, we decided to check out the H Overlook rooftop, watch a few planes fly in and out, and the sunset. It’s a gorgeous sight to see both in the day and night.
Checking out was a breeze, as there is always someone at the front desk to assist you. The shuttle to LAX was awaiting guest right in front of the hotel and it takes less than 10 minutes to get to your desired terminal.
What a relief it was to not have to drive over 45 minutes to the airport! I got to sleep in a little longer than usual and didn’t have to deal with the pricey Uber ride.
Big thank you to H Hotel for hosting us and giving us a first-hand experience at the Dine In/Dine Out promo. We had a wonderful stay, loved the food, and enjoyed Hannah’s services!
Make sure to book your next hotel stay here and take advantage of the Dine In/Dine Out promo before it ends on March 31, 2018.
