Serenity Escape in Joshua Tree

The only time most of us ever visits Joshua Tree is during Coachella season, but fortunately I was able to getaway for a couple of nights with KSOLE and experience the desert sans the festival crowd.

A two-hour drive from LA is nothing, considering the 101 FWY at 5PM takes just as long to get through so why not end up in a desert escape instead? Better yet, imagine lounging in a beautifully decorated living room, waking up in the most comfiest bed, and cooking dinner in a chef ready kitchen. We did all this and nothing more, and it was the best two nights I've had in awhile.

If you look up @SerenityEscapeJT on Instagram, you can immediately tell why people love this space. From photoshoots to weddings, Serenity Escape is not a stranger to those who love a quiet getaway. Can we just take a moment to admire how well decorated this house is? Seriously, scroll through the photos below and we'll talk after.

Dreaming of a vacation yet?

From the selection of hardware on the kitchen cabinets, to the attention to detail of the tiling in the bathroom, to the themes of each bedroom, this house was what our ideal future home should look like. KSOLE and I simply loved every thing about it, except for one thing that we never thought would be an issue. The quietness.

Yes, as strange as it sounds, it was too quiet for us. The house isn't surrounded by nosey neighbors; no one is actually around you for miles. There aren't any sirens or street car noises, no dogs or cats fighting in the alley way, just you and nature. This was the first time I literally heard nothing but the rain and the occasional house creaking. It took us awhile to fall asleep, hah.

Aside from that, which I'm sure everyone else would love and appreciate it, the stay went well beyond our expectations.

It was an absolute joy to have had the opportunity to stay at Serenity Escape. Easy to book, clear communication on the host's end and absolute enjoyment on our end.

Highly recommended and I would suggest staying before festival season so you can have some peace and quiet.
