Directory of BIPOC Home/Interior Bloggers and Brands

Let’s talk about diversity in the home and interior space, especially on Instagram. There is a lack of and/or little support for people of color in this area — and it’s been like this for years. It’s not new news, but it’s finally being acknowledged.

I’ve had several conversations with others in the home space lately, asking for recommendations and coming up short, with others asking the same question as me. Where the BIPOC at? Why aren’t we being featured on Apartment Therapy, Hunker Home, etc? So, for the last two months, I’ve been compiling a list and am hoping to continue adding to it so please send all suggestions my way (info@bylisalinh.com)! Big shout out to Wesley for also helping me put this together.

My hope is for the general public, brands, and PR agencies to start here when considering partnerships/collaborations because let’s be real, diversity is NOT just a trending topic. We need inclusivity across all industries especially in the home and interior space so with this list, you cannot tell me that “you just couldn’t find someone” anymore (ahem* brands & PR companies). You know better so DO better.
