Breakfast at Estrella
Estrella: 8800 Sunset Blvd West Hollywood, CA 90069
It's my second time at Estrella, my first being for dinner and so I had to stop in to check out their breakfast menu. Grabbed a few blogger buddies and headed over to the gorgeous location in Weho.
Now, when I go visit restaurants, there are 3 key things I look for: decor, service, and food. Estrella knocked it out of the park with one of the most gorgeous settings I've ever eaten in. The details from the inside to the outside is absolutely stunning. I love the vibe and the look of the place. Probably one of my favorites thus far.
After gawking over the decor, we sat down and decided to order almost everything off the menu. It all sounded too good so we had to try it all!
- Porchetta
- Turkey sage sausage
- Thick bacon
- House made yogurt bowl
- Poached eggs, puttanesca, potato cake (skillet)
- Frittata
- Thick cut whole wheat toast with peanut butter and banana
- Orange ricotta pancakes
- Chai spice french toast
- Almond latte
- California smoothie
- Rabbit smoothie
- Verve coffee
The service was impeccable. The food came out piping hot and all at once, per our request. You know bloggers have to take a picture before they eat so we prefer all the food out at once, lol. We enjoyed all that we had but favored the skillet dish with the poached eggs and potato cake. Second best were the orange ricotta pancakes with almonds and toasted coconut.
My personal favorites included the sausage and thick cut whole wheat toast with the peanut butter and banana. So simple yet so delicious!
