She woke up to the gorgeous sunshine peeking through the curtains.
She yawned, stretched her arms over her head, and got up to pull the curtains aside.
"What are you staring at?" he groaned, covering his eyes.
"Did you notice that there's a Starbucks right across the street from us?" she beamed.
He laughed and asked a question he already knew the answer to, "Do you want me to get you coffee?"
Her smile grew bigger as she rushed over to the bed, jumped on top of him, and gave him a kiss.

Step right into the colorful rooms of the iconic boutique hotel known as Opus. Located in Yaletown district, Opus is rated 4-stars by Forbes Traveler and is a Conde Nast Gold List winner, so naturally I had high expectations for my stay.
We stayed a total of two-nights in a Deluxe King room. The room was spacious enough for two people and was uniquely decorated. The bathroom had both a shower and tub, a gorgeous sink, but lack of storage space for two girls. We also would've preferred more privacy when it came to the bathroom, as it was just a curtain that covered the glass window.
Aside from the room, the hotel does have a bar/restaurant downstairs and it seems like a good place to start your night. Front desk staff is available for the majority of the night, as we arrived around 12:30/1AM to check-in and there is also a late night menu for room service available (win!)
For parking options, it is valet only. The hotel is located within walking distance to quite a few bars, clubs, and Starbucks is across the street, so you don't have to worry about taking the car in and out too often during your stay.
Unfortunately that wasn't the case for us, as we were shooting with a tight turnaround schedule so we made several trips back and forth and probably annoyed the staff.
Overall, Opus was a great option for us for a quick weekend stay. For more than 2 nights, I would probably opt for the Signature Suite :)
Thank you Opus for hosting us during our Vancouver trip!
