NYFW 2016: What I Wore
I'm back from New York Fashion Week, but am already missing the streets of New York!
Pau and I hit our 2nd NYFW together and despite being a short turnaround trip, we enjoyed every moment of it. We hit the ground running when we landed Friday morning at 8:20AM, heading straight to our first meeting after checking into the Manhattan NYC. Our schedule consisted of back-to-back meetings/events and shows, but we managed to get in some sleep and eat in-between the chaos.
This time around, due to the short trip, we decided to skip out on a few events and focus mainly on creating content. After all, NYC is the perfect backdrop for any photo. We managed to do two outfits per day and all details for what I wore are listed above.
This season, it was all about comfort and functionality. I focused on sets and jumpsuits so that I didn't have to stress about layering or planning each look out. We were often in a rush each morning, waking up late (hitting the snooze button too many times) and the traffic sucked. Luckily, all my looks were easy to throw on and I added on a jacket/blazer to finish off the outfit. Accessories were simple and hair was styled each day (thankfully). Big thanks to Bumble and Bumble, PRIV, and Dream Dry for the hair services!
Also, thank you Lexus for the rides to and from the show. It helped a lot, knowing I wasn't going to sweat in any of my outfits. Hopping in and out of the car was a breeze, how much more comfortable the cars were than taking a taxi!
Stay tuned for the show recaps!
