Weekend in Miami with KYBOE
I only come for 2 days of playing, but every time we come
We always wind up staying.
Party in the city where the heat is on
All night, on the beach till the break of dawn
Welcome to Miami
Will Smith: Miami
It's been a few weeks and I'm missing Miami terribly. I just can't get over how gorgeous Miami is and you honestly cannot beat the beach there. It was a quick turnaround trip so you can imagine how much Pau and I probably didn't get to do. However, I do plan on going back sometime soon!
Ever since I've been beaten by the travel bug months ago, I've been working on packing lighter. A lot of time can be wasted checking in your bag and waiting for your bag at the carousel. Pau and I had gone to Miami Swim Week weeks ago with KYBOE and if you missed the recap of the shows, click here to catch up. Our main priority was to fit all our outfits for the weekend in a carry on and as girls, that can be tough but add in the fact that we're bloggers and well, it was a hell of a challenge.
Luckily, Miami was humid and hot enough for dresses, shorts, swimwear, and crop tops. All these items are easy to roll up and can be tightly placed together. I brought a pair of strappy heels, sneakers, and sandals. All were easy to throw into my Lo and Sons The O.G. bag, with the exception of the sneakers which I wore for the flight to and from.
I did bring a hat, which I held onto during the flight and all accessories were put together in a small bag, stuffed in a side pocket. I decided to stick to light colored pieces, which matched my KYBOE watch perfectly.
As for beauty items, I had two small makeup bags filled with my travel essentials. I made sure to bring just the necessities and with my minimal makeup look lately, it was pretty easy to pack. Always remember that hotel rooms do have toiletries so don't have to pack everything. I did pack my straightener and had a bit of space leftover for Miami souvenirs.
My goal is to travel anywhere and everywhere with just a carry on bag, especially with my Lo and Sons bag. It really does fit everything you need! Can't wait until my next adventure ;)
