From the beach to the runway, Miami Swim Week this year has certainly made a splash!

Pau and I jetted off to Miami on the redeye, arriving early Friday morning and prepared for a long weekend ahead of us. It was certainly a last minute trip that we do not regret one bit. While we just got back a few days ago, I'm already missing Miami so much and am itching to go back soon.

So what did we do and how was it? Miami Swim Week is first off, way more relaxed than NYFW, which is refreshing. Many shows did hit capacity and if you didn't have a guaranteed seat, good luck! Pau and I went to see a handful of brands but our favorites were KYBOEFrankie's BikinisHot as Hell, and VIX swimwear

We also stopped by Yandy's brunch to view their latest swimwear collection, which looks amazing!

Each show was unique in it's very own way; KYBOE displayed their watches on a conveyer belt and had a wide diversity of models. Frankie's Bikinis spread the message of love and peace with a 70's theme and the show just so happened right as the rain started. Talk about perfect timing. Hot as Hell started off their show with a musical performance before introducing their maternity and children's swimwear line. It was certainly a packed house. Lastly, VIX had fun with their models as they strutted, danced, and did their thing down the runway.

We had a great time overall and can't wait for next year. Big thanks to KYBOE's team for having us and for one of the best weekends!
