From decor to dishes, May's round-up includes new restaurants within the LA area that are Insta-worthy and will leave you extremely satisfied. But remember, there's always room for dessert!
Located inside The Standard on Sunset, Alma brings a Palm Springs vibe to the LA scene. From the decor to the service, you'll automatically feel at ease as you devour the most delicious meal of your day. I had the pleasure of visiting for brunch with blogger buddies Reinaldo and Elaine last month and needless to say, we left with a full stomach and smiles!
A night out with the girls at Eveleigh was much needed and proved to be a great last minute decision! This cute little restaurant is located on Sunset near The Church Key and has the best outdoor patio I've seen. You have to visit just for the decor but you'll be lured in to stay for the food for sure.
We had oysters, mussels, truffle fries, steak and of course, dessert. Nothing was left untouched and yes, we did really eat all that (considering there were 4 of us). Will be back soon!
Fig & Olive (Melrose)
Starting out with drinks, I had the white sangria and took advantage of the wine display on their porch for a photo op. Aperitivo Happy Hour is available Monday to Sunday 4PM to 7PM in the lounge and includes an array of items such as Tuscan artichoke, truffle mushroom croquette, lamb albondigas (my favorite), and F&O slider burger.
Recently opened, Baldoria Bar + Kitchen is located near Little Tokyo on San Pedro St. The eye-catching decor and well-lit space makes it the perfect spot for bloggers and selfie enthusiasts alike. This place is just plain picture perfect and the food is just as good as it looks.
I visited Baldoria with two of my favorite blogger babes, Celeste and Courtney on a gorgeous LA afternoon. We all are obsessed with this place and especially their pistachio grapes! It's their version of bar nuts, minus the germs but with the same addicting factor. While we scarfed down quite a few dishes, my favorite had to be the pizza. Who doesn't like a good meat's lover pizza? Freshly made and so flavorful!
Baldoria also offers bottled cocktails, which we didn't get to try but you can bet I'll be back soon enough!
