It's All In The Details
Redecorating your apartment/home can take months to do and while I'm not 100% done, here is an update!
I believe I mentioned back in January that I was working on my room and wanted to do a full makeover. It's now May, almost June to be exact, and I'm about 80% done with my tiny, studio apartment. You would think that the smaller the space, the easier right? Wrong!
Due to the limited amount of space and the green carpet that I absolutely hate, it took quite a while to plan this all out. I partnered up with Minted to spruce up my place and forced me to think about the little things. After all, it's the small things that count right?
With white walls, you can either keep them bare for a minimalist look or add some personality. I selected a few art prints from Minted that shows my personality, from a motivational quote to gorgeous landscapes of places I'd rather be at. I love that they gave me options from framing to print size. It allowed me to truly customize my space to my own liking.
I decided to add a pop of color with the lumber sized pillow. Despite what KSOLE says, you can never have too many pillows! I also love the unique sizing as it falls perfectly in line with the ones I have.
Lastly, as you can tell, I have a huge sunglass collection. I wanted to display them in a way that you can see them all. The apothecary jar is the perfect size and fits at least 5 sunnies. I'm able to see inside the jar and pick out a pair I want, on the go.
I have a few more additions to the room and I hope I'll be able to finish before the end of summer. Until then, I recommend checking out Minted and adding a few new things to your place!
