March Round-Up

It's been a busy month and I cannot believe it's the first of April already!

We all know that this month is dedicated to Coachella so before all the desert posts begin, let's do a quick round-up of last month's places to eat. From dine-in restaurants to a local pizzeria, and a taste of fine dining on the sea, this month features are sure to make you salivate!

1. Moon Juice

Located in Silver Lake and Venice, Moon Juice was created by Amanda Chantal Bacon and represents a holistic lifestyle that goes far beyond juices, milks, and snacks. I popped in the cute Silver Lake location and instantly fell in love with the decor. Not to mention that the lighting is on point in there!

After sampling a few different flavors, I decided to take home two milks, two juices, and a couple snacks for the road. I've been hooked ever since and definitely recommend trying them out, especially their cleanses and tonics.

Living in San Gabriel, it was quite a surprise finding a delicious pizza place just down the street from me in Pasadena. This delicious gem is located right across from Pasadena City College, which is brilliant because what college kid doesn't love pizza?

The Pizza Press allows you to be creative as you want, making your very own pizza or order a signature combination. Fresh, fun, and fast are the best key terms to describe The Pizza Press, oh and did I mention their selection of craft beers? Great for a study break or catching up with friends, this is going to be my new go-to for pizza!

1655 E. Colorado Blvd.
Pasadena, CA 91106

3. Industry Bar & Grill

From Pasadena to Calabasas, Industry Bar & Grill houses a wide variety of craft beers that will compliment their delicious burgers. Whether you're heading to Malibu or in need of a place to watch the game, Industry is great for a boys night out or catching up with girlfriends.

My favorite dishes, aside from the burgers, are their fried pig ears, corn on the cob, onion rings, and the mussels are a must! With house made sauces to compliment your side dishes, you can't go wrong with Industry!

4. Murano

On board the Celebrity Silhouette is an exquisite French restaurant called Murano. During my trip, we had the pleasure of sitting at the chef's table and were served table side when it came to the main courses by chef Victor.

From the starters to the desserts, I couldn't get over the presentation and the taste of each dish. My favorites included the lobster bisque, steak, and banana crepe. Murano is definitely a place to take your take and worth the splurge during your cruise ;)

5. Luminae

For those living the suite life on board Celebrity Cruises, there's an exclusive restaurant just for you! Luminae offers complimentary breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a gorgeous setting. Come for the food, stay for the view, and enjoy the ambience of Luminae.

By the way, I totally recommend their hamachi and fried chicken and waffles. Yes, fried chicken and waffles!
