Tucked away about 10 minutes away from the La Jolla Coves is Hotel La Jolla, Curio Collection by the Hilton. With 11 floors and 110 guest rooms, this boutique hotel is a hidden gem that is perfect for a weekend getaway for two or a staycation for those who need a vacation from their vacation.

Upon arriving, we were greeted promptly by valet and valet services all weekend were quick and painless. What I mean by that is the fact that they don't take 20 minutes to get your car and they were super helpful in getting directions to where we needed to go. That's what I call great service. Self parking is not available for this property; valet is the standard rate of $35 per night.

Our room had a gorgeous ocean view that I loved waking up to every morning. The bathroom included a pretty cool shower that included an automated shade that gives you the option for privacy. The beds were so comfortable that we took naps throughout the day and had a hard time getting up the next day. The room overall was spacious and had plenty of closet space, which is every fashion blogger's main concern (lol).

Located on the 11th floor is CUSP, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We enjoyed brunch with an ocean view, ordering an omelette and 2-egg breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. We had a great night view for dinner, trying out their oysters, clam chowder, and seafood pasta. I personally loved their beet salad and their lobster gnocchi was delicious!

Side note: the women's bathroom on the 11th floor is insanely gorgeous and you have to go in to check it out - really.

Room service is also available and we took advantage of breakfast in bed Sunday morning. Every Sunday should start this way and the staff was so kind to accommodate our random requests (hah). We asked for plates one evening (for our Postmates order) and then asked for hot sauce for tacos we had brought back to the hotel. Thank you to the dining staff for their prompt service as we never waited more than 15 minutes for anything.

Although it was a little too cold for us, the pool area has the option of room service as well, and the pool is heated. It's a cute area to relax and chill out, plus it's open 24/7.

I had a great time at Hotel La Jolla, thank you for having me! The hospitality there is up to par and I love that it's hidden away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. It is perfect for your next staycation or romantic getaway.
