Styling a Bodysuit in Fall
It's still summer during the day but I'm certainly getting fall feels in the evening. Then again, it is LA so what are seasons anyways?
Last Friday I went to see Kygo at the Hollywood Bowl and had such an amazing time. He is certainly worth seeing and brought an array of guests including Leona Lewis and Seal.
For the night, I decided to pair up my suede bodysuit from Boo Hoo with my favorite pair of high-waisted One Teaspoon shorts. A bodysuit is probably one of my favorite items to style, as they go with everything. From skirts to shorts, jeans to culottes, they are easily one of the comfiest things to wear. You also don't have to worry about tucking your shirt in and with the right bodysuit, you'll look flattering from all angles. I also love that this particular one has adjustable straps and isn't too sheer.
In an attempt to stay warm, I paired the look with a Just Fab cardigan, although I should've opted for a heavier piece of outerwear as it ended up getting pretty cold. Since I knew I was going to be on my feet all night, I wore my trusty & Other Stories booties. Focusing on the cut of the front of bodysuit, I paired two chokers, one from Bebe and Nashelle Jewelry, tying it so that it draws attention to the v-neck. To finalize the outfit, I wore the new classic Daniel Wellington watch, in black and gold.
Tip: For bodysuits, I suggest using silicone gel petals versus the regular petal tops. I absolutely love the ones by Fashion Forms, which can be found at Target. Under $10 and reusable up to 25 times.
