Let's backtrack a bit to New Year's Eve where I got to say goodbye to 2015 and hello to 2016 with my best friends.
NYE's was spent in San Diego at The Lafayette. If you actually read my posts, I stayed here previously in December and fell in love with the history of this place. This year, they had a New Orleans theme and the entire place was decorated to fit the vibe. It was absolutely stunning and everyone came dressed up!
There were about an estimate of over 1,000 people that attended and tickets sold out quickly. With 3 main areas with live band/DJ playing and a photo booth, acrobats, and plenty to drink, there was always something to do throughout the night.
The countdown included a champagne toast and the rest of the night became a blur. I was so happy that we stayed overnight at The Lafayette, allowing us to fully enjoy ourselves without worry!
Big thanks to The Lafayette's staff for taking great care of us and we cannot wait to go back.
