LA Food & Wine Festival 2015

The LA Food and Wine Festival this year did not disappoint, but I didn't expect anything less. I attended 2 days out of the 3 day festival, came hungry and left absolutely stuffed. If you aren't familiar with the LAFW, it is where great chefs display their culinary skills and foodies join together for 3 evenings of drinks, food, and entertainment. It is an event you really need to experience once in your life, although I think KSOLE and I plan on attending every year. You know we're serious about it when we drive from Newport to LA and back, lol.

While there was a large variety of food and we tried as much as we could, there were only a few favorites I definitely wanted seconds of including this amazing melt in your mouth candy, literally melts in your mouth. The taco pictured below had mouthwatering meat and I really wish they gave us two. Isn't that standard? Who really eats just one of these?

It's always a delight to mix and mingle with people who have the same passion as you do. However, lines do get long and the event gets quite crowded so early arrival is highly suggested. Musical entertainment included DJ Questlove on Thursday night and The Roots performed Saturday night.
