Generation Beauty by Ipsy

I'm slightly late on my recap of Generation Beauty 2015, but better late than never right? :) It's been about 2 weeks since Gen Beauty happened and I'm still going through and testing out the things I've received. While I was only able to make it to one of the two days, I still had a great time and met some wonderful brands.

The good thing about Gen Beauty is the direct brand to customer interaction provided with complimentary samples and services. You get a taste of what they have to offer and how their product works before buying. The downside is that I was able to skim through all the brands in about an hour and the lines were so ridiculously long that I had little interest in waiting for anything. I did try Lush Cosmetics's soaps, grabbed some samples, and did snap photos at the many photo booths offered but after two hours, I was ready to go. The goody bags were distributed at 1PM, which was about the time I was ready to leave so it worked out, hah.

As for the outfit, I kept it simple and easy to wear with Joah Brown's crop top paired with distressed shorts, booties, and my favorite hat. Really love the breathable fabrication of Joah Brown and the simplicity of their designs. You can't ever have too many basics right?

Big thanks to Pacifica Beauty for sending KSOLE and I!
