OOTD: Feeling Blue

It's Hump Day! We're half way through this first week of February and getting closer to Valentine's Day, that wonderful Hallmark holiday in which girls get spoiled and men empty their wallets -lol. Okay, so that's not entirely true because I spent quite a bit of money on KSOLE's V-day gift too :)

With the special day occurring next week, I figure I hop on the bandwagon and provide you with some outfit ideas for the V-day weekend. I'm going to start off with my obsession of this two-piece from Lulu*s. From the print to the fit, this relaxed daytime look is great for a day of strolling on the boardwalk, brunch or lunch dates, or girls day out.

It's no secret that I'm petite and lacking on top, so I hardly ever wear tube tops. Surprisingly, this top stayed in place and was pretty comfortable (without a bra). I really love how this outfit looks and the only complaint I have is that the skirt is too long for my 5'4" self. I certainly need to wear heels/wedges with it next time so it doesn't drag on the floor so much.

As for accessories, I kept it simple with this initial necklace from Bip & Bop and my go-to traveling bag from Culture Riot. Of course, I have to keep track of the time with my trusty Daniel Wellington watch.

By the way, if you're looking for a fun, adventurous weekend, go to Catalina Island! Yeah, sick of me rambling about it yet? Don't worry, I won't say much but press play below and be amazed. Thank you KSOLE for the video!
