Bouchon is located right next to Montage hotel and is known for its classy French cuisine. However, on the first and third Monday at Bouchon, you can get a taste of Yountville with Ad Hoc's Buttermilk Fried Chicken

KSOLE and I had the privilege of trying out their fried chicken entree and a couple of appetizers. The salmon tartine was refreshing with the addition of hard boiled eggs, something I never had with the dish before. The other appetizer we had were the devil eggs, one of my favorite treats that I haven't had in forever. Super delicious! We were also served bread and butter.

We did make a mistake and over ordered, as the fried chicken meal was more than we expected. We had 4 pieces of chicken, 2 cornbread, and sides of yams and greens. Needless to say, we did not finish it and had to take it home. The pieces of chicken we received were huge, but I think it needed more seasoning (IMO). The yams were my favorite and were devoured quickly. The rest had to be taken home as I saved room for dessert.

Per the server's recommendation, we got the creme brûlée and did not regret it. Overall, this place is great for a date night and I would love to come back to try the other items on the menu.
