DIY Halloween Costume with Savers/Value Village
This post is sponsored by Savers/Value Village.
Shopping for a Halloween costume can be stressful, but my recent trip to Savers/Value Village was a one-stop shop and I found everything I needed in less than an hour. Talk about a time saver—and, yes, I got some amazing deals!
If you have never heard of Savers/Value Village, it is a mix of thrifted goods combined with new, pre-packaged items such as Halloween costumes and accessories. I must admit that it took me awhile to figure out what I wanted to create for my Halloween costume, as I was overwhelmed by the selection offered. I initially wanted to be Little Red Riding Hood since I found a gorgeous velvet cape, but I stumbled upon a vintage-looking top that screamed “pirate!” After digging around, I found a cute tutu bottom that completed the look and grabbed a sword and hat as accessories. It was such a relief to be able to find everything I needed in one place!
As the end result, I created a cute pirate costume that is my favorite Halloween costume to date.
