Magic/Project/ENK + Agenda (Vegas)
Since I was already in Vegas for Mad Decent Block Party, KSOLE and I decided to also stop by the trade shows: Magic, Project, ENK and Agenda before our trip home Monday morning. It was a pleasure visiting brands I have worked with in the past, such as Bed|Stu and meeting new brands such as Lazy Pants. I also had a list of companies I wanted to stop by and introduce myself to, such as Hellz Bellz and Entree LS. I've been a huge fan of both for quite a while and had to say hi :)
We literally visited all 4 shows within 6 hours, rushing through each. Unfortunately, we did not get any proper outfit shots. However, you can kind of see what I am wearing in the photos below so I'll briefly go over the two looks. I purposely did an outfit change to show my style variations as I hate categorizing myself and I love both feminine pieces and edgier/urban/streetwear items. I also wanted to show support for my friend's brand, Prevail Co., which I have mentioned before here.
MAGIC: It was my 3rd trip to Magic and I mainly went due to appointments. I had left my badge at home and had to deal with registration, which wasn't too bad but did take some time so please remember to bring your badges guys! Once inside, I was overwhelmed by the amount of retailers showing this year and did get confused when trying to locate brands on the map. Luckily I was saved by Harlee of Stylesmith! I did a fun meet and greet with two brands and am working on upcoming collaborations so stay tuned!
I wore a mint maxi dress from Lulu*s to Magic, Project and ENK. I loved the color and the back! It was a great lightweight piece for the heat in Vegas. I also loved that it wasn't too long (aka I didn't need to wear heels - woo).
The leather tote is also from Lulu*s and if you're attending a trade show, come prepared with a tote so you can be hands-free while walking the show. Throw in all info and goodies in the bag and you'll have no problem locating things you will need later.
PROJECT/ENK: Project and ENK were more crowded with visitors and included brands such as Levi's, Lucky Brand and Bed|Stu. Unlike Magic, Project and ENK did not allow any photographer whatsoever. So instead, here's a snap of me and my blogger babe Emily in front of the AG Jeans booth.
AGENDA: It was my first time attending Agenda but I have heard nothing but great things about it. I was excited to attend Agenda out of all the shows as it featured a lot of brands I admire. My first stop was V/SUAL by Van Styles. I am a fan of his photography and love his style. After looking through the gallery, I went by to Hellz Bellz and was drooling over the Hello Kitty pieces. I love that they made HK look edgy and not girly! While at the booth, I had the pleasure of meeting creative director and founder, Miss Lawn. This woman inspires me and a million others to work our asses off because she's living proof that hard work pays off. To top it off, she is extremely sweet and humble!
I made sure to stop by AYC's booth to say what's up to my friend and AYC's brand manager, Rich Marshall. In less than a year, AYC has been blowing up and I had the opportunity to talk to brand ambassador, Stevie Williams. I actually have known Stevie and Rich for awhile now as I used to work at 1010 Wilshire, in which I would see them weekly. It was great seeing both of them again and the AYC booth was poppin'! It was so crowded I could hardly get in!
Before I left Agenda, I had to see Entree Lifestyle's booth. I've had my eye on their mascot for awhile now and was so excited when I was gifted one! I literally sleep with it every night, haha. I do have an upcoming collaboration with them in the works so stay tuned!
I had a great time meeting and seeing friends at all the shows. Vegas, you have been too good to me and I will see you again in September!
