OOTD: Lace Embrace

There are several ways to wear lace, my favorite is to expose it and let it be seen. Therefore, I decided to keep the look simple and casual, a perfect date night look with a hint of romance.

This Catherine's Vintage Lace Hallow Out mini dress from Hems and Fitz is an easy day-to-night piece,  just throw on an over sized sweater (and knee-high boots) and you're ready for that fall breeze! If you follow me on Instagram than you saw how I styled it for an evening out.

I love the detailing of the top and bottom of this dress. It is absolutely gorgeous and if you're feeling lazy to do your hair, an up-do would actually make the dress stand out more.

The dress is semi-sheer and I wore a tank top and boy shorts underneath. To contrast the girly appeal of the dress, I paired it with my favorite ankle boots from Elliott Lucca. I am completely obsessed with these bad boys as they're super comfortable, have arch support and match every outfit! The hat was the perfect finishing touch, as it made the look more me as I don't really do girly attire ;) Now I look more hipster right? Hah!

I'm off to Vegas for the weekend so be sure to follow my adventure in Sin City via Instagram! I'll have some Halloween looks coming up on the blog along with a collaboration and contest with my blogger bestie, The Ruby Element  - so stay tuned!

Also, join me NEXT weekend for the RISE Lantern Festival! It will be at the Mojave Desert in Nevada, just outside of Las Vegas. It is a huge event consisting of lanterns, fun, friends and an amazing view. How often do you get to personalize your own lantern and have it fly away in front of your eyes? I am super excited to attend and hope to see you guys there! To purchase tickets, click here.
