C.O.D. Restaurant

C.O.D. | 8408 W 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA 90048

Located near Beverly Grove, C.O.D. is a contemporary eatery offering a variety of fresh seafood dishes as well as customized options, cooking it any way you like.

The large art piece and the hanging row boat are just two distinct decor that you'll notice as soon as you walk in, however what'll hook you in is the service and food. It's a great place for date night with it's dimly lit ambiance, offering a romantic vibe for guests.

Upon getting seated, we noticed the full service bar and the uni pasta, which was on almost every table around us. It's the thing to get but because it does have dairy in it, I had to opt for the 2nd best thing on the menu - the crab glass noodles. I plan on coming back with lactose pills in my bag so I can enjoy the uni pasta though.

In addition to the the pastas, we also ordered half a dozen oysters, crab toast, and halibut carpaccio which I could've used another round of. Everything was fresh, tasty, and well portioned.

We did over order with the whole fish, which was deboned at the table, and was so good. However, we couldn't finish it and had to take it home, but no regrets enjoying it the next day.

While there are plenty of restaurant options around 3rd Street, I find it harder to find fresh seafood spots and to have found one that has great service is always rare these days. I highly suggest bringing your S/O to C.O.D. and enjoy a night filled with great cocktails, food, and conversations.
